Celebrating its 21st anniversary this year, the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce and Industry has announced details of its Business Fair that it will be holding in Truro next month.

The Cornwall Chamber Business Fair will take place on May 12 on Lemon Quay, and is promising businesses “everything they need to know”.

Chamber chief executive, Richard Glover, said: “This is our 21st year and if anything we are going from strength to strength.

“This is in no small part due to the increasingly interesting and exciting range of business activity in Cornwall. This event aims to give those companies a platform to promote their products and services as well as celebrate a major birthday for us.”

The day will see Cornwall College aim to make £100k in business investments, a ‘live’ version of the Cornwall Chamber Legal Helpline run by Follett Stock solicitors, finance advice from banks, an opportunity to meet buyers from the public sector and the chance to hear from some of the business support provided by Convergence in Cornwall.

The event will feature over 50 different stands and events including employment and taxation advice.

“We are certainly looking forward to a busy day,” added Glover. “There are thousands of businesses across Cornwall and we can honestly say that the Fair will have something of interest to every single one.”
