‘Futureproofing Museums for a Post-Covid World’ will be the topic of conversation for a special webinar tomorrow featuring speakers from across the world.
The event (Jan 27) is being hosted by the Cornwall Museums Partnership through its Museums Immersive Network (MIN) which it established last summer.
Topics on the day’s agenda include speakers such as Sofie Andersen, interim head of digital at The Metropolitan Museum of Art New York; Saif Chaudhry, founder and CEO at Ilum Studio, and will feature a keynote from Jessica Driscoll, head of immersive technology at Digital Catapult.
Museums Immersive Network creator and innovation manager at Cornwall Museums Partnership, Amy Shakespeare, said: “Immersive technology offers the potential to interpret our collections and share our stories in new, accessible, and interesting ways.
“Our first event was a beyond-expected success and we were delighted by the evident appetite for our network concept, and for global attendance, and involvement in, our webinar events.”
