Cornish advertising and marketing agency, Minchin & Grimshaw, is to open a new office in London following rapid growth which has seen sales rise by 200% in three years.

The move will see partner, Aren Grimshaw, relocate to London to oversee the development of a new presence in the city, initially making use of flexible working space in central Soho. Simon Minchin, will continue to head up the Cornish office.

Talking about the move, Grimshaw said: “Having just celebrated our sixth year in business, we think now is the right time to take our model into the south east, where there are often larger advertising budgets to work with.

“We have seen huge growth in our Cornish business over the past 12 months. Much of this growth has been fuelled by interest in our Facebook advertising services, which have grown in revenue by more than 500% in the last year.

“We will continue to work with our partners in Cornwall to deliver a cutting-edge marketing service to south west and London based businesses alike.”

Grimshaw will initially split his time between the Cornwall and London offices, managing the company’s local client base and offering a series of new, specialist training courses for business owners and marketers looking to get the best from their Facebook efforts.
