Treleigh CP School near Redruth has benefited from the arrival of superfast fibre optic broadband.
The solution, which involved a fibre optic connection being laid to the school premises, means that pupils and staff alike are not restricted by slow internet speeds that have plagued them in the past.
Head teacher, Helen Collinge said: “Being so remote we rely on the web as a resource hub, as a learning tool and also operationally as any organisation does.
“Before we had superfast broadband our connectivity was slow and unusable at peak times of the day, now it is seamless.”
Josh Hosking, director for iCT4 who arranged for the installation and managed the overall project said: “What Treleigh School are doing with this technology is brilliant. They have really embraced the best parts of the internet and are maximising the Superfast Schools solution.”
