Technology-focused copywriting agency Radix Communications has reported a rise in its annual sales.

The Penryn-based company exceeded its financial targets for 2011, with a 37% growth in turnover and a 31% profit margin.

Radix provides copywriting services to multinational technology vendors and their marketing agencies.

Over the last 12 months it has worked on major content development projects for Oracle, one of the world’s largest technology companies; Canonical, the company behind Ubuntu, an open-source operating system used by 20 million people worldwide; and Spirent Communications, a FTSE 250 vendor of network testing equipment.

MD Fiona Campbell-Howes said: “We’re thrilled to have bucked the economic trend for a third successive year. It demonstrates the strength of demand among technology businesses for marketing content written by industry specialists.”
