Truro-based Datasharp UK has become one of the first Sharp dealers in the country to sell and support a new range of Multifunctional Products (MFPs).

And two Cornish law firms have swiftly recognised the benefits of going green and the positive impact it can have on their businesses.

Datasharp’s document and print solutions sales manager, Martin Gardner, said: “Datasharp has a very strong environmental policy as do a large proportion of our customer base.

“Sharp’s new range of MFP’S utilise the latest eco-technology making them more environmentally efficient than predecessors by a massive 60% and, importantly, more cost effective for our customers. Quality Solicitors Nalders and Coodes solicitors immediately recognised the environmental benefits and advantages to their business by investing in upgrading their current Sharp equipment throughout their offices.”

Coodes’ ICT manager Julian Holmes said it was important that businesses ‘think green’. He said: “For many years we have recognised the importance of investing in greener technologies and continue to do so, helping us provide a better service to our clients whilst also reducing our carbon footprint.”

Quality Solicitors Nalders’ ICT manager Mark Howes echoed: “We are very impressed by the new print solutions equipment that has just been released by Sharp UK Ltd, offering the latest in ‘green technology’ with many eco-friendly features that are not only kind to the environment but as a company save us time and money.”
