Truro-based software technology company Packet Ship has won a contract to supply video servers to one of Europe’s market leaders in hotel movies on demand.
Packet Ship’s deal with Quadriga Worldwide will see its streamline product used to broaden the on-demand entertainment experience to incorporate HD programmes and the latest blockbusters.
Marc Budie, technology director at Quadriga, said: “In selecting Packet Ship’s Streamline product we found a perfect fit. Firstly a product that enabled us to enhance the guest experience with HD, and at the same time achieving cost efficiencies by providing a single product which would support both HD and SD formats. Packet Ship worked closely with us to fully integrate their software with our solution.”
Paul Clark, CEO of Packet Ship, added: “We are delighted to have helped Quadriga build the next step in their hugely successful hospitality product line, and look forward to working with them to provide many more exciting new features in the future.”
