Truro-based conference and meeting venue The Business Space is celebrating the opening of a new IT suite.
Since opening nine months ago the venue, located at Chiltern House on City Road, has hosted more than 2,600 delegates for a wide range of clients including Oxford Innovation, Unlocking Cornish Potential, Holtz Toys, Cornwall Council, Bristol City Council and Sullivan Cuff Software.
Designed especially for local businesses by Cornwall College Business (CCB), The Business Space features professional conference rooms for up to 60 people with video-conferencing capabilities, board rooms for 12 as well as smaller meeting and interview rooms, with an on-site cafe and relaxing breakout area.
The new IT Suite, which opened this month, boasts a full Adobe Suite in addition to what would usually be found in the best venues.
Dave Linnell OBE, Principal of Cornwall College, said: “CCB is dedicated to helping local businesses grow and thrive. The Business Space was created to respond to the need for a venue for meetings and conferences outside of the office but with all of the facilities you would expect to find in an office environment. The addition of the new IT Suite highlights our dedication to providing a high quality facility.”
