An e-commerce web development company from Cornwall has beaten off national competition to secure a contract with one of the region’s most recognisable children’s organic clothing companies.

Truro-based e-commerce, web design, development, and consultancy specialists, NetInsight, has won the contract to re-design the Frugi website.

In winning the account the company, formed in 2007 by Dan Hinchliffe and Mike Reed, will work alongside the Frugi team to help them towards a turnover target of £3m by 2012.

Hinchliffe said: “The whole NetInsight team is incredibly pleased and excited to have won the account with Frugi.

“It’s particularly pleasing to have beaten national e-commerce companies and it goes to show that there is the skill and expertise on hand in Cornwall to help businesses achieve their aims.”

Working with the existing Mamut Order Processing System and their preferred e-commerce platform Magento, NetInsight will re-design and develop three elements – the trade site, the consumer retail site and also the Planet Frugi information site.
