Newquay-based Anja Jones Translation has been invited to speak at the European Language Industry Association’s (ELIA) annual conference, which takes place in Barcelona later this week.
The presentation, entitled ‘The growth from freelancer to a translation company and beyond: A business language road map’, will feature experts from translation companies and translation technology providers to discuss growth plans in the context of current trends in the translation market.
Anja Jones explained: “ELIA is the premier trade association for the European language services industry which aims to foster the relationship between translation companies and freelance translators.
“Our presentation will focus on how to grow your translation business without compromising on good business ethics. We are strong believers in offering fair rates and payment terms to our freelancers, and this event will be a fantastic opportunity for us to share some of our experiences and best practices.”
The ELIA conference will be held from February 11-12.
