The team behind a new website that encourages visitors and local residents alike to explore and discover Cornwall has been joined by a new member of staff.
Nicola Kneebone, a former manager of Falmouth Visitor Centre and most recently project coordinator for Cornwall College’s The Engine Room in Truro, has been appointed We are Cornwall’s business development manager.
With a strong background in tourism marketing and business support, her new role involves growing membership and ensuring all clients make the most of the benefits on offer.
In the same week that Kneebone started, the team moved to a new office in Tremough Innovation Centre.
Director Sue Bradbury, who runs the new company alongside Sue Bradbury PR, said: “It’s been a busy couple of months as we’ve also done a lot of work on the site, with new content being added all the time.
“We are Cornwall was only launched in March but already has thousands of visitors each month. We’re delighted with what has been achieved and have lots of plans in place to increase that success. Nicola’s experience and passion for what we’re doing is all part of that ongoing strategy.”
