A seminar on the state of the music industry is being held at University College Falmouth (UCF) next week.
The event, taking place at the Performance Centre on July 29, will feature influential speakers from within the industry exploring questions surrounding the demise of the music industry as we know it. Is it a dying business or is it just changing? How can power transfer from the corporations to individual artists?
Speakers include Phil Nelson, who started his 20 year artist manager career with The Levellers, and Sean Devine, VP of The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, (ASCAP).
The seminar is free to all Cornwall-based musicians and music-related businesses
