Ginsters is officially more popular than Kylie Minogue.
Ginsters’ new £6.5 million campaign, its biggest marketing push to date, took the weekly UTalkMarketing People’s Choice Award for most popular advertisement.
UTalk polled 1,000 consumers, asking them ‘which of the following ads would encourage you the most to buy their product or service?’
And Ginsters’ ‘Man Plea’ campaign came out on top, ahead of a Lexus car ad featuring Kylie, and a Coca Cola ad.
Andy Valentine, head of brand marketing for Callington-based food manufacturer Ginsters, says: “We believe the [Man Plea campaign] is a strong platform for driving recognition of the versatility and quality of our savoury pastries.
“We’re confident that this new user friendly communication strategy will go a long way to drive growth of the Ginsters brand and the category as a whole.”
