Superfast broadband has arrived on St Michael’s Mount.
Residents on the historic tidal island can now connect to speeds of up to 40Mbps.
BT engineer Martin Broad said the installation to the Mount provided its own unique challenges. He explained: “This was certainly an unusual job, but work went really smoothly.
“The main issue was ensuring the work on St Michael’s Mount was completed before the tide came in and cut us off from the mainland. We knew we had four hours and, in fact, this turned out to be more than enough as the installation was quite straightforward.”
