Partner to Succeed, an ERDF Convergence project that aims to bring businesses together and work in collaboration to compete on national and international platforms, is celebrating a successful first six months.
The project, which is currently working with over 70 Cornish companies, has been funded by £1.35 million from Convergence together with £150k from the South West Regional Development Agency. The team recently held a special event for clients and partner organisations in their offices in Truro to showcase the programme and thank clients and local service providers for playing a part in the success to date.
Helen Trudgeon, programme director for Partner to Succeed, said: “So far we are working on 25 on-going collaborations, ranging from the creative sector, through to innovative electronics product development, engineering and environmental.
“The team assists the companies with market research, analysis, administrative and technical assistance; in fact whatever they need to help them to achieve sustainable growth. We are also currently working with over 70 businesses, helping them identify potential areas for collaboration and helping identify key partners for them.”
The programme has funding to continue supporting and encouraging business collaboration until March 2012 and asks any SME looking to achieve growth through collaboration to contact a member of the team for a no obligation chat on 01872 275595 about how the programme could help them.
