The Cornwall Community Foundation (CCF) has welcomed its first Business Club member from the Isles of Scilly.
The Bourdeaux Shop in St Marys offers a range of toys and gifts.
The CCF Business Club, the business arm of the Cornwall Community Foundation, was established 13 years ago. Since its inception it has invested over £370k into communities in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, awarding over 200 grants.
Mark Mitchell, the owner of the Bourdeaux Shop, is a keen supporter of the Cornwall Community Foundation having been a trustee. He said: “It remains a privilege to be able to support the foundation, whilst at the same time flying the flag for the Isles of Scilly.
“We are rather proud to be the first CCF Business Club member on the Isles, and hope, before too long, we are joined by others. Whilst many of us may acknowledge the beauty and joy of living in such a special part of the UK there is much need and benefit in strengthening our local community whilst supporting the numerous wonderful groups and causes that so very much need a helping hand.”
