Cornwall Air Ambulance is set to launch a festive fundraising challenge for its supporters this Christmas.

The Twelve Days of Christmas Challenge will see a number of well-known names sharing their festive ideas and unique gifts to help raise money for the lifesaving charity.

It kickstarts tomorrow (Dec 1) with a live virtual Christmas Carol Concert with the Cornwall Channel at 7pm on Facebook. Hosted by Fern Britton and Johnny Cowling, the online event will feature over 200 performers from across Cornwall, along with special guest appearances.

Behind other advent doors, supporters will find chefs Rick Stein and Paul Ainsworth, who will both host live cooking demonstrations for the charity on Instagram. There will also be live painting from Sherree Valentine Daines, a wreath making demonstration and a Grand Auction.

The Twelve Days of Christmas Challenge is sponsored by Cornwall Air Ambulance ambassador Dr Karen Dickens and Comitti Boats UK & Caribbean.

Dr Dickens said: “Christmas is a very special time of year for me, so I wanted to share some of my favourite things during the Twelve Days of Christmas Challenge – hopefully putting the magic back into Christmas while also raising much needed funds for a charity very close to my heart, the Cornwall Air Ambulance.”

Supporters backing the charity will have the chance to double their donations to Cornwall Air Ambulance from December 1-8 through the Big Give.
