The Budock Vean has presented a cheque for £3.2k to the Cornwall Community Foundation.
The money comes from hotel guests, who were invited to make an optional donation at check out.
Hotel owner, Martin Barlow, is also arranging a Gin and Jazz evening on March 13 to raise additional funds.
He said: “Our guests have been extremely supportive of our efforts to raise money for the Foundation and we’re really grateful to everyone who has made a donation.
“This year our guest donation scheme will continue and we’ll be hosting two fundraising events, starting with Gin & Jazz where every penny of the ticket money goes straight to the Foundation.”
Jo Riley, CCF philanthropy director, added: “We are very grateful to the Budock Vean Hotel for all their fund raising for the Foundation.
The Hotel’s guest donation scheme and the Gin and Jazz evening are great examples of a Business Club member taking the initiative and raising substantial funds above and beyond their core membership subscription.”
