The 2017 Cornwall Macmillan Christmas Fair held at the Eden Project recently raised a record-breaking £64k. The money will go towards directly supporting Cornwall’s cancer patients.

Organised by a team of volunteers, with the support of the Eden events team, the famous biomes (this year turned Macmillan Green for the duration of the Fair) played host to one of the county’s most vibrant and popular Christmas events.

“This is the biggest amount we have raised in the event’s history,” said committee co-chairman Jane Hartley.

“Since the fair was first launched 26 years ago by our President Lady Mary Holborow, we have now raised in excess of £634k for Macmillan in Cornwall.  From the committee of volunteers, stallholders and business sponsors, through to the Eden Project and the visitors themselves, we’re very grateful to everyone for their continued support.”
