A raft of new sponsors has been announced for the Cornwall Macmillan Christmas Fair, taking place at the Eden Project in November this year.

Lining up for 2016 alongside long term supporters Lillicrap Chilcott, Walker Crips, MailAway and St Austell Brewery are the new Waitrose Truro store, Francis Clark and Stephens Scown.  In addition, Santander has confirmed support with the organisation of the Grand Prize Draw.

The Waitrose Truro branch support and fund raising has already kicked off with Cornwall Macmillan being selected as one of the three inaugural charities for the popular green token Waitrose Community Matters scheme.  It has just been announced that £630 was raised for Cornwall Macmillan alone in the first month of Waitrose opening.

“Last year we raised an amazing £55,000 to help cancer patients in Cornwall with the funds going directly to help build The Cove Macmillan Support Centre at Treliske,” explains Fair Co-Chair and High Sheriff of Cornwall Jane Hartley.  “We are hoping to at least match and even exceed this figure in 2016 and this would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors and of course Eden Project.”
