Local law firm, Nalders, has chosen Robert Owen Communities (ROC) as the focus of its charitable support in 2016.
Gayle McDermott, who is responsible for the firm’s marketing activity, said: “When considering which charity we should support, my colleagues and I couldn’t think of a more deserving charity than ROC to put our collective weight behind.”
ROC operates ROC Welcome, a vibrant social opportunity based in Truro and a 40-acre farm at Blackwater. The charity plans to launch a new service in Cornwall in the first half of this year.
ROC’s Calvin Lovelock said: “I am delighted we have entered into partnership with such a prestigious firm as Nalders.
“This is a big step forward for the charity in securing the sustainability of many of our activities as we progress towards social and work place inclusion.”
As well as making ROC its charity partner for 2016, Nalders has also become a sponsor of The ROC 5K, the charity’s popular annual fun run.
