Local businesses and members of the public are being invited to walk for a “world without dementia” and sign up for Alzheimer’s Society’s Eden Memory Walk, which takes place next month.
The Eden Project will play host to both a 2km and 5.5km walk around the perimeter and through the biomes, on Sunday, September 13.
Event organiser, Katherine Strick, said: “There are over 22,000 people living with dementia in Cornwall and Devon.
“I wanted to do something to fight the condition whilst walking with others who truly understand.
“Raising funds for Alzheimer’s Society is a great way to support people to live better with this condition and I hope that our contribution will help fund research into better treatments.”
