The ‘fastest blind man on the planet’ has joined local charity iSightCornwall as its new fundraising officer.
Blind from the age of 12, Steve Cunningham has battled, and overcome more challenges and barriers than most people will ever face.
As a young boy he was told that he would probably spend his life tuning pianos, weaving or making baskets, or selling boxes of matches on a street corner. Now he is a triple world-record holding sportsman, pilot, golfer, business entrepreneur and motivator of all ages.
On behalf of iSightCornwall, Cunningham will be visiting schools, colleges and businesses, inspiring them to “reach for the stars” and break their own barriers to success.
