This year’s Royal Cornwall Show proved to be another success for the Cornwall Community Foundation (CCF), with £3.6k raised for the charity.

The CCF is grateful for being the chosen charity of Tregothnan Estates, which is a member of the Cornwall 100 Club, the business arm of the CCF.

Another Cornwall 100 Club member, Rodda’s Creamery, donated all the cream for the cream teas and Warrens Bakery donated the Saffron Cakes.

Jane Hartley, vice chair of the CCF, said: “We are very grateful to Tregothnan for hosting us at the Royal Cornwall Show.

“There was a very friendly atmosphere around the Tregothnan tea chest; three sunny days of enjoying the great British tea of Tregothnan and raising money for the CCF. We all worked so hard in order to raise funds to invest into the communities of Cornwall.

“Thank you to all of our volunteers and supporters.”

The CCF has awarded £6 million to the community over the last 12 years, with over 2,000 local projects benefiting in Cornwall.
