More than £157k has been raised for local projects since the start of the Crowdfund Cornwall campaign last year.
Newquay-based Crowdfunder launched what it claims to be the world’s first localised crowdfunding campaign a year ago.
Since then, it has helped a variety of projects, including a Cornish Language Radio campaign and sending the Cornwall-based, British surf team to Peru for the World Championships.
Phil Geraghty, MD of Crowdfunder, said: “We are delighted to announce we have raised over £150k for Cornish projects and will continue to work with projects in the county to ensure that crowdfunding continues to provide a fantastic alternative to traditional funding streams.”
