CLIC Sargent is urging businesses across Cornwall to grab their wigs and raise money for charity.
It’s Wig Wednesday later this month (May 21), when companies across the UK will unite to raise funds for children and young people with cancer.
Every day, ten children and young people in the UK hear the devastating news they have cancer. Being diagnosed with cancer is frightening; treatment can last up to three years and frequently leads to children and young people losing their hair.
Last year CLIC Sargent supported 61 Cornish young cancer patients and their families; providing clinical, practical and emotional support. And it needs your support to help each child and young person cope with cancer and get the most out of life.
