Home Service received £256k of funding from Arts Council England and The Baring Foundation, enabling it to create collaborations between arts and care organisations in order to provide high quality arts experiences to enhance the lives of those living in residential care.

Jayne Howard, director of Arts for Health Cornwall, which is collaborating with other organisations in Cornwall to lead the Home Service project, said: “We are delighted to have these two care partners on board, both Cornwall Care and Anson Care Homes have a fantastic reputation.

“They will help us to enhance the lives of older people in care homes through the arts experiences that Home Service will provide.  We are now on the lookout for other care homes within Cornwall where we can deliver a range of high quality creative projects.”
