The Ideas Factory, a new initiative by Cornwall Voluntary Sector Forum (Cornwall VSF), will offer help and guidance from experienced colleagues.

And the Truro-based charity is inviting people to share their ideas at the launch of the new venture on Thursday March 27 at Heartlands, in Pool.

Among the speakers will be Chris Hines, founder of Surfers Against Sewage and now director of A Grain of Sand, an initiative working to help drive positive change in a range of areas.

Expert advice and guidance will be on hand from The Engine Room, explaining the work they do supporting social enterprises, while Outset Cornwall will be offering a workshop session on how to pull together a good business plan.

There will also be a presentation from Crowdfunder Cornwall.

The event is free but booking is essential. To book your place, click here.
