Designed to be a fun event for individuals and teams, the race at Marazion on Saturday October 5 will raise funds for Cornwall Hospice Care; the organisation chosen by the Truro office as their ‘charity of the year’ for 2013.

Anthony Meehan from Francis Clark said: “We have our own running club in the Truro office and following the success of that we decided to co-host our own event in October when discussions with Tempus Leisure Limited presented this opportunity to us.

The Francis Clark Beach Run will start at 10am on October 5 and is open to individuals or relay teams with a minimum of three members. Entry is £15 for solo runners and £30 per team, with medals for all finishers and any surplus from the event going to Cornwall Hospice Care. Prizes will be awarded for first male and female, first team and first all ladies team.

There will also be a children’s 2.5k run or walk starting at noon which can be registered for free on the day between 10-11am.
