Rick and Jill Stein’s Seafood Restaurant in Padstow has raised a record £11k for Save the Children.

Charity lunches were held throughout January and February and saw nearly 4,000 diners in four weeks enjoy a specially devised three course lunch. The £11k raised by customers beats the 2012 amount of £10k

The Seafood Restaurant has been supporting Save the Children for 12 years and has helped raise over £70k for the charity.

Rick Stein commented: “Our charity lunches have proved increasingly popular over the years. Together with our customers we’ve managed to raise a significant amount of money this year to help raise awareness and support the great work that Save the Children carries out in the UK and across the world.”
