Rick Stein’s Café in Padstow has helped raise over £600 for Action Against Hunger’s Love Food Give Food campaign.
During September and October visitors to the café have been donating through the charity’s collection envelopes on the tables.
Action Against Hunger is an international humanitarian organisation committed to ending child hunger.
David Sharland, operations director of The Seafood Restaurant said: “We are very happy to be able to support the charity, I’m delighted the café has raised £623.45 for Action Against Hunger. Thank you to all of our customers for their positive response to the collection, we really appreciate all your generous donations.”
Rick Stein and Jill Stein’s charitable work continues through the winter with their Save the Children Lunches at The Seafood Restaurant.
The lunches run from January 26 to February 15, where you can enjoy a three-course lunch for £18 with a £2.50 cover charge donated directly to Save the Children.
