Helston-based aid charity ShelterBox is appealing for donations after a series of global natural disasters have left its resources stretched to the limit.
Within the last month alone, ShelterBox has sent aid to flood victims in Niger and West Africa, typhoon survivors in the Philippines, and survivors from a hurricane in Mexico.
And now, it is desperately looking answer calls for help following the tsunami in Samoa.
The charity sends boxes which include blankets, a tent, cooking equipment and other tools, at a cost of £490 each. It is totally reliant on public donations, however, and hopes to encourage more donations to continue its work.
