In celebration of its tenth birthday, Saltash-based estate agent Hennings Moir is supporting local charity, Horizons, which provides boating activities for financially and socially disadvantaged children as well as children with physical and mental disabilities.
Run by a band of enthusiastic volunteers, the children’s sailing charity makes sailing available to young people in the Plymouth area, many who live near the water but owing to financial, social or physiological disadvantages, have no safe access to it.
Hennings Moir will support the charity in a number of ways – not only with fundraising events and collection tins in the office – the team of management and staff will be helping out on the water as volunteers.
Steve Moir, partner of Hennings Moir, said: “We are really pleased to support the charity, and we’re proud that everyone in the office wants to be involved too.”
