The Cornish Food Box Company has been named The Best Rural Retail Business in the South West at the Amazon-sponsored Rural Business Awards.
The Redruth-based business will now go onto represent the region in the national awards which will be announced in February.
Established in 2010, Cornish Food Box is a leading online retailer of Cornish food, drinks, hampers and gifts employing 13 people. The company works with more than 250 Cornish farmers, fishermen, bakers and food businesses, and delivers to homes, offices and holiday accommodation across Cornwall, the UK and even internationally.
Founder and MD, Victoria Amran, said: “After an incredibly busy summer, and now in the lead up to Christmas, to be told we have won this award was a fantastic boost for our team here in Redruth who have all worked so hard over the last couple of years through the pandemic.
“It’s so exciting to have been put through to the national awards early next year – hopefully we will do Cornwall proud and bring the award home to the county.”
