A Cornish business leader was among the winners at last week’s National Business Women’s Awards.
Leah Marsh is MD of Swallowcourt, which operates six nursing and residential care homes across the Duchy. She received the Lockdown Leader Gold Award at a ceremony held in London.
Finalists in the category featured numerous high profile female business leaders, including the CEO of Everton Football Club.
She said: “I was honoured to have been shortlisted as a finalist for this award alongside so many highly esteemed and enterprising female business leaders and to have won was a humbling achievement.
“I am over the moon to have won the award and it is a testament to a wider leadership team at Swallowcourt and of course the dedication and true frontline heroes across all of the Swallowcourt homes that I am privileged to have led through the toughest of times.”
