Looe Town Council has been named as a finalist in the National Association of Local Council’s (NALC) Star Council Awards 2021.
The council is just one of five to be listed and the only one from the south west.
The theme of this year’s awards focused on projects that have positively impacted communities through Covid-19 and the winners will be announced at an online ceremony in October.
Winners will be decided through an open vote, which is open now and will close on August 23.
The NALCs are the only awards in England to recognise and celebrate the contribution local (parish and town) councils make to their communities.
