Porthleven-based eco packaging company, Flexi-Hex, won two awards at the MRW National Recycling Awards.
Flexi-Hex took the ‘Best Innovation’ and ‘Best Recycled Product of the Year’ categories at yesterday’s (Jan 27) virtual ceremony.
Co-founder Will Boex said: “I feel immensely proud of the Flexi-Hex team, we’ve worked extremely hard over the last year and to start 2021 with these endorsements are truly incredible.”
Flexi-Hex creates plastic-free, adaptable packaging solutions using a patented honeycomb sleeve. Its products have made a big impact within the drinks industry, with over 25% of the UK’s distilleries now using its packaging – including many Cornish brands such as Tarquin’s, Healeys Cyder Farm, Curio Spirits Company and Scilly Spirit.
