Acorn Blue has won an award for its Old Station Master’s House development at the UK Property Awards.

Acorn Property Group’s Cornwall office won the award in the Best Residential Development Cornwall category.

The granite Victorian former train station was painstakingly rebuilt by Acorn to create the “unique collection of individually-designed apartments and duplexes” on Fowey’s waterfront.

Situated less than 100 metres from the water’s edge, Old Station Master’s House comprises six one, two and three-bedroom apartments and duplex maisonettes alongside seven new build two-bedroom apartments with river views.

Stuart Brereton, regional MD of Acorn’s Cornwall regional office, said: “We are thrilled that Old Station Master’s House has achieved national recognition. Our projects are always carefully designed and this one is no exception with its open plan living and private terraces or balconies from which to enjoy the setting sun.”
