The Eden Project landed a top honour at the first-ever Sports & Leisure Catering Magazine Awards this week.
Eden won the SLC Caterer of the Year prize in the face of strong competition from runners-up Lord’s Cricket Ground and Levy Restaurants UK.
The announcement was made on Tuesday night at a ceremony at BAFTA in London, following a rigorous judging process.
Hospitality manager, Becky Fenner; procurement director, Andrew Holden; and head of operations, Neil Stark, collected the award on behalf of Eden.
Holden said: “This is great recognition for the whole Eden hospitality team who, day in and day out, provide superb quality with great diversity and at a scale that goes beyond any other restaurant that was nominated.
“It also reflects the amazing food and drink producers of Cornwall and the south west that we are proud to have as our suppliers.”
