Today, Robert Camp, managing partner of law firm Stephens Scown, has been shortlisted for The Smith & Williamson Entrepreneur of the Year for the 2015 Lloyds Bank National Business Awards.
Since becoming managing partner in 2011, Camp has overseen the firm grow by 41% and pick up numerous awards including The Sunday Times Best 100 Companies to Work For.
Camp was unaware that he had been nominated by his management team and was a little overwhelmed to hear he had been shortlisted. Mandy Reynolds, director of marketing at Stephens Scown commented: “I had the delight of telling him the news and it was the first time I had seen him lost for words! It’s so well deserved as he has completely transformed a traditional law firm into an entrepreneurial business where we are all proud to work. He’s a truly inspirational leader with a clear vision and infectious enthusiasm. We are all keeping our fingers crossed that he wins.”
The winner will be revealed at the Lloyds Bank National Business Awards gala dinner held on November 10th at Park Lane’s Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
