Nine Cornish graduates are celebrating after winning an award at the recent Unlocking Potential Celebration Event.

The awards welcomed 200 graduates and delegates from the business community and recognised the impact graduates have had in facilitating business growth in Cornwall.

Two new award categories were presented, with Luke Holland, a creative consultant at Wise Monkey Media, taking the Stand Out from the Crowd Award and Steven George, a junior copywriter at Radix, collecting the Gateway Graduate of the Year accolade.

Other winners included Lucas Brimson (Richfords Fire & Flood) for Best Use of ICT; Kayleigh Taylor (Source Energy) for Best Marking Impact; Kris Harris (Marbel) for Outstanding Business Development; Henry Ward (Cockwells) for Catalyst for Growth; Tom Lake (Research Instruments) for Business Innovation; Kirsty Cotton (TRAC) for Individual Achievement; and Leigh Hickin (First Wave), who took the Postgraduate Placements Award.
