The GradCornwall website has been shortlisted in the Best Newcomer category at the National Online Recruitment Awards (The NORAs).
GradCornwall has been created by Unlocking Cornish Potential and is dedicated to helping graduates find a job in Cornwall.
Nicky Luke, UCP’s head of graduate recruitment, training and employability, who project managed the site’s development and launch in June, said: “We are really excited; the NORAs received over 164,000 nominations for 585 separate recruitment websites across 12 different awards categories, so it’s fantastic recognition for our website to have been shortlisted.
“What makes us stand out I think is that the platform has been purpose-built and designed to help employers and graduates find each other in Cornwall.”
GradCornwall will discover whether it has been successful at an awards ceremony to be held in London next month.
