Cornish design agency Boex has been shortlisted for an international industry award.
The annual FX International Interior Design Awards acknowledge both UK and global design talent in the field of interior projects and products. The awards, judged by an invited panel of industry experts, are due to be announced in late November.
The Porthleven-based company has been shortlisted in the public sector category, which recognises the best interior spaces in healthcare, education and transport.
The nominated project, a ‘sibling playroom’ at the newly built Neo-natal Intensive Care Unit at Royal United Hospital Bath, was installed last May.
Creative director Sam Boex said: “We are really pleased with the project outcome and thrilled for it be recognised on an international level putting us alongside admirable industry professionals. I’m very proud of our teams work and to be shortlisted is a great achievement.”
700 entries were received in total, with seven in the Public Sector category shortlisted. The winners will be announced November 27.
