Rick Stein’s Fish & Chips in Falmouth has been chosen as one of the seven best new restaurant openings in 2010.
Joining other high profile chefs such as Pierre Koffman, Daniel Boulud and Cornwall-based restaurateur Nathan Outlaw, Waitrose Kitchen has chosen the Falmouth eatery as its pick of 2010.
The magazine praises the use of sustainable fish and seafood by the restaurant as well as the two different offerings, the fish and chip restaurant downstairs and the seafood bar upstairs.
Stein commented: “We are honoured by the inclusion of our Falmouth Fish & Chip Shop in Waitrose Kitchen. It pays testament to the hard work that our team have put in over the last few months and it is fantastic to get such recognition on the national stage.”
