The director of Cornish regulatory affairs company TRAC has taken top honours in the industry’s first-ever international awards.
Jonathan Trethowan was named winner of the ‘Inspiration’ category at the TOPRA Symposium (the organisation representing regulatory affairs professionals) in London, beating off competition from regulatory professionals from across the world.
Trethowan set up TRAC in 2001 to work with global pharmaceutical companies to ensure they comply with all of the latest regulations concerned with the manufacture and marketing of medicines. Upon receiving the award, he commented: “I’m delighted to have won this award for so many reasons but most importantly because it was our team at TRAC who nominated me.
“TRAC is totally committed to creating opportunities for people to develop a long term career in regulatory affairs and I get a fantastic sense of achievement in helping people achieve this. It’s brilliant to be recognised by our professional body for this.”
