Cornish public relations agency Deborah Clark Associates (DCA) is among the Cornish companies shortlisted for the PR industry awards.

The annual CIPR PRide West of England Awards recognise outstanding success and achievement, and DCA, which serves clients across the south west, has been shortlisted for its work in two categories.

Plymouth City Centre Company’s ‘IQ Magazine’ has been nominated for Best Magazine, while the ‘Dig Down South West’ campaign for Cornish Mutual has been shortlisted for the Best Campaign £10K and Under category.

Truro-based Wild Card is also up for a brace of awards, for its work on last year’s Cornwall Food and Drink Festival, while Skyfield Communications is nominated for its rural broadband campaign.

A fourth Cornish PR company, Bodmin-based Barefoot Media, is shortlisted for its promotion of Polo on the Beach, while Cornwall College’s Josie Scobling has been nominated for the Outstanding Young Communicator accolade.

The winners will be revealed at a presentation dinner to be held in Bristol next month.

  1. Many congratulations to all the agencies and individuals shortlisted for the CIPR PRide awards. That so many Cornish PR agencies feature here is testament to the depth of quality and talent we have in the county, and it’s great to see this hard work being recognised by our peers. Best of luck to everyone and hopefully we can bring several trophies back to Cornwall.
