Falmouth-based designer Absolute and its Helston-based client, Frugi, have been shortlisted for the national Design Effectiveness Awards.
Run by the Design Business Association (DBA), the awards recognise work that is proven to have had a positive impact on the commercial success of individual clients. The inclusion of the Absolute entry on the shortlist means that the agency will be added to the DBA’s Top 20 UK League Table for 2009, showing that the team is among the most effective design companies in the country.
Frugi MD Lucy Jewson said: “Without doubt, the design work from Absolute, and the strategy and communication tools that resulted, has been the driving force that has lifted Frugi to its current new dimensions.
“We are targeting and winning accounts and customers in foreign and lucrative markets and we’re doing it all the Frugi way. We get constant feedback about how much everyone loves our brand, and to win a DBA award would be an amazing result on top of everything else.”
