Falmouth-based contract electronics manufacturer, Sellectronics, has a new MD.
Jon Hurrell strengthens the senior management team with a wealth of experience gained in a variety of manufacturing environments.
Started by Dean Haney and Jason O’Connell 14 years ago, Sellectronics has been at the forefront of UK electronic engineering with its specialist printed circuit board (PCB) assembly.
The PCB industry has seen significant growth and Sellectronics is mirroring industry trends with the PCB global market valued at $78 billion in 2021 and forecast expectations of growth to $128 billion in 2030.
Hurrell said: “Dean and Jason are the brains behind Sellectronics and the achievements secured by this SME to date are extraordinary. Their dominant expertise lies in the technical aspects of the business, ensuring the company delivers the most up to date cutting edge solutions.
“My role is to be able to shape and develop the business further, so that it can maximise the opportunities the expanding market offers.
To be joining at this time, when the industry is so buoyant, when the company is ready for the next stage of expansion is enormously exciting.”
Recognised for its innovative PCB assembly, Sellectronics offers a range of services from small cable forms, to complex multi-level surface mount circuit board assembly.
Haney added: “Jon’s recruitment is a significant new chapter in our company’s growth. Understanding and listening to our clients has created our agile electronic manufacturing service.
“Listening to the needs of ourselves has been our next step and Jon’s expertise will give Jason and me the freedom to dedicate our specialisms on the product, allowing the company to thrive further under Jon’s expertise.”
