Experienced marketer Nadia Pendleton and journalist Matt Dixon joined the company ahead of the busy summer season alongside PR executive Ollie Young, who recently started at the consultancy after also beginning his career in journalism.
Qualified in public and media relations, Pendleton has been working at the highest levels of hospitality, travel and tourism for over 20 years. She is half Italian, has lived and worked in Amsterdam, Milan, Paris and Hong Kong and speaks three languages fluently. Her previous experience includes working for two leading PR and comms agencies in London before joining Gordon Ramsay Holdings organising private events and acting as duty manager across the group.
“I have always loved working within the attraction industry and really relish the excitement of working with such a diverse and interesting range of clients,” said Nadia
Matt Dixon has more than 20 years’ experience as a journalist, working for leading titles across the county.
Flamingo MD Nikki Smith said: “When I started Flamingo back in 2009, my goal was to offer experienced hands on support for visitor attraction marketing from a team that really understands the business. The three new members of the team will help us to continue doing that for our ever-increasing client base and add a great amount of real-life experience of the types of positive stories that help make the news.”
