Leading south west law firm Stephens Scown LLP has added to the strength of its corporate team in Cornwall through the appointment of a senior associate who has relocated from Australia.
Mark Tyler specialises in advising on corporate transactions including acquisitions and disposals, capital raising and reorganisations.
He has just moved back after eight years in Western Australia where he worked closely with the mining and energy sectors during its rapid investment and expansion phase.
Prior to moving to Australia, Tyler worked at Berwin Leighton Paisner in the City of London, primarily focussing on private equity sector deals.
He said: “This is a really exciting time to be working with businesses in Cornwall. As the economy is more secure, there appears to be a great deal of corporate activity from local businesses looking to strengthen their market positions and enable growth.
